How to Select Your Wedding Colors!

Do you look hideous in yellow? Jenny does! I’m not just saying that, she said it herself the other day when she was talking about finding her wedding colors. How will you find your wedding colors? Here are the top ways that people find their wedding colors.

1. What’s your favorite color? Some people like to pick their favorite colors as their wedding colors. The only problem is if they clash or are really difficult to deal with…. Like Jenny feeling like it’s mean to put her sister in the color yellow. One of my favorite colors is orange, so I would have the same problem! BUT some people like blues or greens or purples that are much more tame and easier to use.

2. What does your favorite color go with? The other strategy is to pick a color that your favorite color matches with so that you can use a touch of your favorite color in other parts of your wedding. Jenny is using grey as her main color and using touches of yellow to make everything brighter and happier!

3. What season are you getting married during? Some people who get married in the winter prefer to select darker colors and longer dresses. Others could care less!

4. How do you want to feel? Is there a color that makes you happy? Makes you sad? Makes you remember that favorite flavor of popsicle that you used to eat as a kid? Go for it!

5.  Did you see something you like? Did you see the colorful tuxedos and colorful wedding dresses? Or did you see a color combination that looks great together? Seeing something that someone else has done is a great way to find inspiration for what you want to do!
