Who Will Perform Your Wedding Ceremony?
Some people have spiritual or religious guides who perform the wedding ceremony. Others have a non-denominational minister. Others have friends or family. Who will perform YOUR wedding ceremony? (And let us know how or why you picked this person in our comments section below!)

My husband is Romanian Orthodox and I’m spiritual, but not part of any sort of organized religion. I considered joining the Romanian Orthodox church, but decided it wasn’t for me, that I would be doing it for the wrong reasons.
We found a nondenominational officiant who came highly recommended by other brides in the NYC area. She was able to create a beautiful ceremony for us that was nondenominational but still incorporated Romanian Orthodox traditions. It was great. Everyone loved it. A year later, she presided over the wedding of two of our friends!
That’s great to hear that you were able to have someone officiate & balance what you wanted & needed. Congrats!
This is such an important question and often gets left to the last minute. There are lots of wonderful officiants out there who can work with you and help co-create the authentic ceremony you want to have!
I am an Interfaith minister and often work with couples of different faith backgrounds, and with couples who want a spiritual ceremony but not necessarily a religious one.
I highly recommend starting early in finding the best officiant for you and your partner. It really can help in the whole ceremony planning!
A wonderful place to start looking is the Interfaith Chaplaincy Institute

Many of the alumni do weddings and all have an open, creative, Interfaith approach to marriage ceremonies.
Best of luck to all of you on your love journey!
It is March already, and I have not been able to start my new year’s diet. Does anyone knows of a friendly diet for a man in is 30s? My problem is that I am to lazy to cook a healthy meal for a single person.
